Train Tracks Poem by Adamae Liege

Train Tracks

These train tracks lead into the sky
These train tracks wind really high
This train rides in to the clouds
This train ignores normal bounds
Those train tracks pass into light
Those train tracks run out of sight
That train to normal rules does rebel
That train says farewell.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
this poem is of a small child who is telling their older sibling of train tracks that twist up into the sky far above them and its accompanying train

This Poem is for my youngest brother who loves anything that moves and has an engine I thank him for his constant brightness and imagination.
