Wonder Poem by Jesse Artley

Wonder

I wonder
When you step outside, and the cold hits your face
Do you think about me?
Yeah, do you think about me?

And I wonder
When you lay down at night, turn on your side
Do you wish you were staring at me
Yeah, do you wish you'd see me?

Cause I'm all alone
And I'm drowning girl
Without you, I've lost my light
You're the only thing I ever want to cling to

Can you save me, over and over and again
I got so lost in your angel eyes
You were my godsent, my glimpse of heaven
But you ran away, turned away from me

If you ever wonder
When I step outside and the cold hits my face
I think about you,
Yeah, I think about you

And if you wonder
When I lay down at night, and turn on my side
I wish I was staring at you
Yeah, I wish I could see you

When you feel alone do you think of me
What is it that you truly seek
I can't apologize for falling in love with you
I need you in my life

I just wanted to save you, keep you from the hurt
Did you lose sight of yourself
All I want is to be good enough for you
Please come back, back to me
