Woman's Mind Poem by Ellen Ni Bheachain

Woman's Mind

Rating: 4.7

Woman's mind is a curious to some,
We ponder and think,
To do things our way,
But in today's society it's still the same,
Women still have not gotten as much rights as men,

So, women's mind is hidden,
For if women got to speak their mind at all times,
We would have more leadership in this man's world,
A better place for all and gender equality all round,
What a better world it would be,

Yet, woman is kept silent in many matters,
And man, still gets to speak on her behalf,
Oh, woe is me and, in these days, and times,
When woman is equal in job description,
Yet, man get to lead in higher up positions,
And if woman prevails and gets to the top,
I can bet she did with more uphill struggle than man,

How can we bring equality full swing into this world,
When woman is still discriminated against compared to man,
For it will take both to understand the way,
Maybe one day though,
They will let the woman lead,
To bring some balance into this world,
And equality for all.

So very true, in my Netherlands women are powerful in divorce matters, they may keep and feed the kids and oft this leads to killing the kids by their fathers, very tragic result

Like as for all enslaved populations, women have had to fight long and hard for their emancipation and for the positions they now hold and can hold. But when I think that my polish-russian maternal grandmother had to hide under the dinning room table to learn how to read and write. That troubles me the most! . We have come a long way since, not yet enough. Your poem on this subject s very well written, with a lot of sentiment and heart. Thank you very much!

Why give the oppressed equality.? Top Many men are abusive by nature. In this country violence and hypocrisy are claiming equality. But no one is defending women's rights. That would be to fair. After all who are these stupid women who only know how to children bear? An outstanding poem, full of, truth, correct ideas and fairness! That all men should read and it is universal, including all women from all countries. Thank you for this remarkable poem. Top score and more!
