Without You Now Poem by Anne Marie

Without You Now

World is dark and dreary now, it has no cause to thrive,
Heart is cold and empty now, with you it was alive,

Eyes are spilling tears now, salty like the ocean,
Head is so confused now, drowning in emotion,

Sun will not rise up now, nor shine with happy glare,
God has gone away now, wont listen to my prayer,

Rain forever falls now, leaving puddles on the ground,
But only in my mind now, as hell is what I’ve found,

Bed – so soft and cosy now, the place I want to be,
Cannot fall asleep now, for you’re not here with me,

Happiness is lost now, roaming in the crowd
Cannot hear a sound now, pain is far too loud

Life is swallowed up now, seems no way to turn
This is how it feels now, feels to crash and burn
