Without My Friends Poem by Shalom Freedman

Without My Friends

Rating: 5.0

Nothing seems to matter anymore
Without my friends
What is there in life?
I have no one to talk to now

What good would there be
In what I have sought for all my life
Literary recognition and distant strangers' admiration?
It can never replace the feeling of those near

I am lost without my friends
And my Hope too is lost
And much of my capacity
For Happiness.

Quite an emotional plea. No amount of achievement will provide satisfaction unless you can share it with friends and nears & dear ones.
