Without Fields Of Eternity. Poem by Marcondes Pereira

Without Fields Of Eternity.

Rating: 4.5

We lived, we died, we fought in vain.
We prayed, we fed our sins, we met real pain.
We laughed, we cried, we never saw fields of eternity.
We dreamed, we lost our way, we run away from reality.

Awesome imagery: fields of eternity. I love that so much more than just the word eternity. Your poem is well thought out and very well written. Succinct and profound. Very thought provoking.

Life is not for wandering and getting marooned at the end. It should be a vehicle for the soul to be taken to a designed destination of pristine objectives. Thought provoking aptly worded poem. Thanks for sharing.

Dear reader, I do agree with you! Life is a journey created to us discover a deep meaning to exist and develop our abilities. Life is like a dive inside ourselves.
