Within Poem by David Harris

Within

Sitting in the sunshine
on the main street
of a village watching faces
belonging to some I'd like to know.
Some faces smile
while others frown,
but they are all people
no matter of their backgrounds
and should be treated as such.
Life is much too short
to fill it with miseries.
Forgiving is the key
for a peaceful life
with peace within ourselves.
We can have a life
filled with harmony with others
and security within ourselves.
