With Drum Bit Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

With Drum Bit

I have dreamed
And remained
Fully contended
With what she offered

It was her pure love
From far away that drove
Almost seven seas and different continental
Yet love was natural

It has not mushroomed today
But long ten years of stay
And contact with two
We both felt it is true

I saw her face
Almost after eight years
That she was reluctant to show
But her voice was gentle blow

I felt her like jasmine
Almost decent and fine
Never vulgar in approach
I demanded many times to reach

When should I see?
Even though she is totally free
She will keep mum
Not reply even if I shout with drum
