With a heavy heart I feel the time

Quickly passing me by

And as it rushes to the most dreadful day

I feel my heart breaking so slowly

Yet as each crack slowly forms, its painful

As the seconds tick off, each crack gets longer, deeper

The pain growing more and more.

It still beats for you, yet its still breaking too

Its not fair whats happening but I'll endure for you

My love is so strong and it will endure

But the time is eroding as the tears keep flowing.

As the times races, my hearts breaking ever so slow.

Its too hard for me to let go of you.

This love I have is so pure and the seconds tick away,

Time is slowing taking all thats good to me away

as it keeps going on by, and I'm so helpless.

I feel so vulnerable and mad because I want it to stop!

Time why are you doing this to me?

Always stealing away from me the best things life has to offer.

Though Time may take you away from me, I'll always love you.

Though time is hammering away at my heart and soul

I'll pick up the pieces and forever keep you in my heart.

Someday I'll find a way to stop time and rewind it

So I can get to the part where I was in your loving arms.

To the part where we were together and nothing else mattered.

The place where we both can live happily ever after.

But until then, with a heavy heart I have to see you go.

It's killing me, and you have no idea how much its tearing me up.

But for you my love, I'll be strong and someday we'll meet again.

Where the sun gently rises it'll never set on us.

Together maybe we will be again but only time can tell.

Until then my love, sweet goodbye, in my heart you'll be.

Sweet goodbye for someday I'll find my way back in your arms....
