You are but a memory to my dear heart

that dwindles as each day passes me by.

Always worrying about others and not yourself
you miss the qualities you lack so you put us down.
The bitter words sting as you pour the salt on the wound
not caring that you are hurting others in the process.

Such cruelty is faced day by day
and though I face it, it is taken gracefully.
Though you push me and spit in my face,
I simply just go onward, day by day.

Is it safe to say that what we once know is no longer fact?
That the belief itself is abolished by one simple phrase?

Alone, she sits in the dark
with her heart in her hands
as the tear drops cleanse the wounds.
She cries.
...

Day in and day out
I work hard to keep you happy
and off my aching back for once
and yet.....
...

Sometimes things don't go as well as planned
and they don't uphold to your time's demand
...

As I look out at this world
the shine of love catches my eye,
...

Some things just can't, no..shouldn't be said
yet it's said, so what now?
...

Constantly aware,
Constantly observant.
