Winter Rain Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Winter Rain

So unfriendly
Sleet
Sheets
Sounds roaring
Against my window pane
And I
Drink another cup of tea
Poor me
Thinking of the kind of day
It was promised to be, yet
I am free to do...
Absolutely
Nothing!
