Winter Magic Poem by Marilyn Lott

Winter Magic

Don't you think winter is magical?
Such beauty you love to see
Oh yes, sometimes it is a problem
But not in the world that is for me.

The ugliness of winter is gone
Behind it is white on white
Although sometimes when sun shines
It becomes way too bright.

But then the sunglasses come out
To protect our eyes so we can see
Again, we solve the problem
Okay, my friend, are you with me?

And if the snow socks us in
The time will pass and we'll be okay
People are trained to dig us out
But the children can usually play.

So yes, for the most part winter
Is magical in so many ways
And around the corner is spring
Perhaps in just a few days!
