POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Wracked with pain...physical, emotional and most acutely, spiritual... I woke this morning with a recurring song in my mind. The song wouldn't let me go back to sleep. Not knowing the name of it, I kept searching the few words that did come to mind.

Fly. My love, have time to go, forever fly to me, I am always yours, love you, snow covered trees, let go my dear love and fly away now to me, pain will leave you in flying now

I got slowly up out of my bed and wrote:

...though I am no Angel,
Please give me wings
...to fly to you.

I already had the winter photo, thought both matched my aging pains of the struggles of late getting going each day, every day.
......there no pic attachment option. I just discovered that. TY
