Wine Of Truth Poem by Wendy Bureau

Wine Of Truth

Rating: 3.5

Eloquently sipping the wine of truth
With round mouth of innocent lips
Forbiddingly furnishing tasteless taste buds
Hungry, greedily gulping, savage sips

Yearning to quench love's pleading palate
Ripe virgin of temptations bliss
Behold, drunk wondrous mystery
Salivating without mercy, moistened kiss

Yield not thee first step of untraveled domain
Wander amidst lust's tongue of err
Savour, devour, the sultry taste
Inhale the scent of forbidden air

Soaring in sin's climatic ecstasy
She flies circles of constant ring
Denying not, the rhythmic hymn
Her Apollo, so sweetly sings

Savagely sucking the wine of truth
With plump mouth of puckered lips
Flesh taint of experience, explored
Willfully watering, womanly hips
