Winds Of Change Poem by Ray Hansell

Winds Of Change

I remember when the winds
Of change began to blow
I was still a youngster
So much I didn't know

But as I grew older
I very quickly learned
The closer to the fire
The more chance of getting burned

The years continued passing
Still I didn't understand
How people could love the baby
While they could hate the man

One thing I was always told
Was that, the more things change
The more they stayed the same
This saying always struck me strange

I have nothing again change
I don't think anyone should
By opening my mind
It helps me see all the good
