Will You? Poem by Autumn Winds

Will You?

Will you hold me close
Or let me go?
Will we fall together
Or fall alone?

Lost love
The world afire
Silver tinged dusk
Gold tipped dawn

Once smiling
Blue eyes
Have lost their shine
Their spark

Can we hold it together
Or are we already too far apart?
Can something dead
Be resurrected?

Will you hold my hand
Or let it fall?
Will you whisper my name
Or say nothing at all?

Crumbling love
Falling fire
Crashes of lightning
The sound of thunder

Is nothing there?
Where everything used to be?
What happened to forever?
A life time together?

Are you giving up?
Will the sky scrapers crumble?
Will the ashes fall?
What will you chose?

Will you say goodbye
Or say forever?
Will you kiss me now
Or kiss me never?
