Wildest Dreams Come True Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Wildest Dreams Come True

Fantasy Poem:

A wintery scene
Over lonely islands...
We are chilled as ice
In the freezing snow.
But shining down
is a golden star,
'Oh glorious December
How kind you are.'
As friends of the earth
We wear glowing smiles
Although breezes blow
Great beauty inspires.
Captured by Monet's
Atmosphere effect,
An island of glitter
His paintings reflect.
We shall survive
To come smiling through
Homeward to England
Across seas of blue.
Our wildest dreams
Will soon come true.
