Why Such A Trend Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Why such a trend?

The girl is not only the woman
but the human too
she is the little child 
and from the heart,  caring and mild 

many times, she rises in revolt
but mercilessly caught 
in the controversy
with the risk of her modesty 

the girl asks herself in private
why has she been pushed to her fate?
and suffer the cruel result
much to her insult 

she is unable to understand 
why people have such a trend?
to molest her and kill later
why has she finally to suffer?

neither has she an answer?
nor the capacity to show an anger
she is growing into the full woman 
and may one day be the bride of someone
