Why live?

Why live when life
Itself is not fair?
Why live when all we have
Is problems to solve?
Why live when all men do
Is do and undo
Each other’s dreams

I thought we live to show God’s love
I thought we live to keep each other
I thought we live to keep God’s earth
By that we prove the Master’s work
Was surely meant to show His worth.

Why live?
Is it just to exist?
Or there is still something more to it?
That the Master still resist
To man, His own, reveal.
Why has He securely sealed
All the facts in why we live?

Why live if all that man choose
To do
Is none but to be on his own?
When the Master had in mind
The master plan so devine
That’s meant to make man refine
And then we find
That very soon
We live to show the glory of God.
That’s the reason why we live.
