Why Disputes Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Why Disputes

Well sometimes it doesn't have to make sense but...

In deed!
Why poets?
Or
Rainbows
Or butterflies or kites
Or
The rain in spain
Or
Crouchy men
Who ask
WHY THE DISPUTES?
Sitting around
In tight boots...
Why
Robins in willow trees?
Raven's riding on backs of
Crows?
A line I read in
someone's poem
Gotta go
getting warm
in here
Don't kick your
Cat
Or turn your bat
right side up
'cause you might
find better to be
kind or
at least soft spoken
when speaking to
A friend
Harsh words
never win...
Stop standing
On your head
your brain is
Leaking lead!
Having read
This, dispute it
If you want to!
