Love it hard;
love is deep,
love is everything we can’t speak;
although we say it,
do we mean it?
Do we truly mean it?
And if we do;
why is it that love can’t conquer hate?

Difficult subject for a poem, dear poet Arlene Anderson. How old are you? If love is deep and hate is the storm in the surface of the sea, then you compare two different things. Love is love, is a mission. Hate is the LACK OF LOVE. Love gives and never asks something in return (responds to my poem The Little Poor of God) . I rate your poem high...but keep working on those challenging ideas. Go ahead. Joseph Josephides Member of the International Society of Poets (ISP) Int.Lib.Poetry awarded
