Who Cares? Poem by Na. Kwaati

Who Cares?

Rating: 5.0

I'm a psychopath
You don't know how it feels.
People mistake me for a sociopath
Without knowing what it means.
Tears flow down from my eyes
As I watch the cut scars on my thighs.
Calling me a baby
Telling me I'm crazy.
To me, the world is pitch black
Because I see no way to leave my mark.
People say I always wear a frown
Well, I guess I'm not a clown.
You talk.
I walk.
I bleed cuz in me there's blood.
Just like you.
Gushing through me like a great flood.
That is true.
I cry
But you will never know why.
Try to walk to walk in my shoes, just a mile
Then you'd understand why I can't smile.
This fault in me isn't something you can cure
Even tho you may be pure.
I'm a psychopath
Try to understand

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
People think they know you just by looking at you..
I'm a whole new level of thing, A social misfit, an outcast
A dork as they say...

I'm just a 16 yr old with the soul of a century old monk trapped in me, Kids my age would play games, I would rather go read books of history and go look around places around the globe..Or spend hours thinking about things I don't even know exist yet..YOU MAY KNOW ME, BUT TRUST ME...YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND ME
