Whispering Poem by Rachel Brewer

Whispering

The whispers rattle the trees,
The silence without them, is lonely.
Whispering throughout the land,
And talking to those unknowing.

The whispering mesmerises you,
Stops you in your tracks.
The whispers get inside your mind,
And corrupt you from the inside.

The whispers feed off of you,
They drain you of yourselves.
They need you to survive the wind,
Or they will get swept out to sea.

They speak silently and posses your thoughts,
Until al you know is them.
They steal your life and your mind,
Because that is all they know.

So if the whispers come for you,
Try and shut your ears.
I know it may sound silly to you,
But trust me,
The whispering will drive you insane.
