While I Waited (Busy Minds) Poem by chize ryan ogunkah

While I Waited (Busy Minds)

*While I waited
Drops of water
Splashed across the gloomy sky
Dancing their way
Into my very consciousness

*While I waited
Desperate minds
And shuffling feet
Morphed a sound
Beknowing to the busy life

*While I waited
The tick and tock of the clock
Made my While a reed
Just like in a tide

*While I waited
Chattering and laughter
Invade my presence
Even without a care

While I waited
The meeting of minds
and bidding of finds
condense into a gloomy haze

And

While we are waiting
"you come, you see and you conquer" they say
But in time
The exploits of all
is a just a speck and smudge
On life's course

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When the casual observer gets lost and inadvertently snubbed in the busyness of life. I had this experience and wrote this poem in the midst of that experience.
