Happiness? Poem by chize ryan ogunkah

Happiness?

Rating: 5.0

if looking good makes you happy
then glow with radiance (like the sun)

if finding wisdom is your ultimate source of joy
then chase immaculate wisdom (like pure seas)

if watching stars gives you inner fulfilment
then bide time with the stars

if communing with nature makes you whole
then marry nature

if voyaging breaks the ice of lethargy
then travel the world like the clouds

if companionship fades the fog of lonesomeness
then tie the knot

if foolishness brightens your inner self
then tread the path of foolishness

if dancing gives you the time of your life
then dance to the heart's beat

if music unfurls the entanglement of your spirit
then adapt to the rhythm and soul of the universe

if the sea waves assuage your souls plight
then sail to silent sanity

if writing gives you the pass to your inner man
then scribe to the wonders of the earth

if loving leads you to the zone of perfection
then love like its the last

if praying purges the pain of a profanity
then plead your cause

if dying enriches your soul
then die to pain (be a stoic)

if copulation numbs the feeling of pain to self
then spiral out of emotional control

but all in all, in your pursuit of happiness, do not alter the happiness of another. for such is the beauty of living and life is as such.
