Where There's No Light Poem by Kevin Patrick

Where There's No Light

Rating: 5.0

Where there's no light at hopes summit
The darkness will guide me
Like a compass of resilience
To trace the souls stoic marquee

For my wings shall never taper
Through Life's theater of cruelty
These scars will make applauds
And turn a tragedy to comedy

When my feet find dominion
Against the closing time of tides
I'll breath, evervescent
And toast the shadows, Purified
