Where can you run to
When no-one else is around
When everyone else is sleeping
And there isnt one single sound
Why is it then your mind starts to wonder
Thinking about the present and past
This is the time it finally hits you
Your life is going to fast
Why did i have to grow up so quick
I seemed to be the only one
All the other children had there childhood
Where the He*l had mine gone

Don't feel bad Ali, I was forced to grow up immediately, and not even overnight. They told me things that still haunt me today. People can be so cruel especially to children. Maybe someday children will have a voice in this world that will be heard. I certainly hope so. A very well written and thought out piece with a message for everybody. A 10+++++. Love & hugs, Barbara
