Where Are You Poem by Dianna Nally

Where Are You

You sit in your chair eyes glued to the TV
But on your face is such a blank expression
It has been so long since I have seen you smile
All I see in your sad face is depression.

I don't know what happened to cause this to happen
Is it the change of life or is it me?
I try so hard to be there for you but sweetheart
It's getting close to that intolerable degree.

I have tried to find a doctor to help you
but you have fought me all the way
I think the reason you won't get help
is your afraid of what they might say.

The one thing you can always be sure of my love
is I will always be here when you need me
I married you for better or for worse
I'm here to the end, that I can guarantee.
