Nobody notices
nobody discovers
but you are sinking.

your kinetic movements
all are fine
but your potential energies
have started sapping out of time.

nobody could feel it
but only you
just this dawn
you realise you are done.....

the storebed of life
has started receding
you are shivering
for drugging urge

nobody finds it out
not even your man
every day your duties go
but you know, you are swiftly slow.

the inner oxygen levels are on decline
mind is meditating into nothing
you are sinking, no more excuses
you are waning, no more pretensions

what is there, after all
life is just a manuscript
corroded by time
eroded by passions

your page is but an illusion
since any page may be yours
what is written is out of fashion
interpretation is anybody's choice

every page is yours
when emotions tear
when truths trumpet
you are a carpet finished.
