When We Oughta Realise Poem by Phillip Nine Mafunga

When We Oughta Realise

Many a times we worry
When the only thing we oughta do's tarry
For worry's a snare to those who're not wary
The unnecessary burden o' fear we mustn't carry

Care to trust the Master
Our fears'll be wiped away faster
Ushering in the beauty of a new chapter
In it, no other story but that o' Easter

Many a times we worry
When the only thing we oughta do's to be merry
Meanwhile, find love and marry
For in love, all misery we bury

Care to trust the Master
In whose morrow, your joy'll rapture
As He ushers you into his green pasture
In it, no other story but that o' the happy eater
