Now that you are gone,
There is only deep silence and dead cold.
The words that inspired me once
No longer have their depth and
The sounds of gentle breeze just a memory.
Yes! There is only silence and pain, and
The air is filled with tears and goodbye.
The stretch of life's journey with you walked
And the crisis, an alternation of love keeps knocking me.
The memories of your soft touches torture my soul
As the separation had tolled its final toll.
These are the days when the air wanders
Alone like the cold winter melancholic wind.
There is nothing left now, but to sleep;
To sleep away from heartaches,
To sleep away from mounting sorrows.
I hide away from the cruelty of destiny,
I sleep and sleep, wishing this phase
Would be over when I open my eyes
One fine morning one fine day.
