When I Look At A Piece Of Paper
When I look at a piece of paper
I see the poem inside
All I have to do then
Is to replace the covering
I have a story to tell
I would like to share
A little of my experience with you
There will be always someone
Interested in what I write
For sure I write for the pleasure
So my anguish dissapears
And happiness remains
It is necessary to have a courage
To look deep inside myself
Open this to the outside world
To know that one day
Whatever I write long or short
Could be read by someone
My feelings of sadness and happiness
My sympathy for love, life and death
Are still the same since thousands years ago
But there still the need to transform and to deliver
All for myself and yours
I have to retell these stories of humankind
So I can contact my inner universe
When I traced out letters, words, and sentences on paper
I know that I risked a lot
To manage my instinct, heart and mind
Maintain and concentrate to write down
I keep on going learn positive things
Correcting, and acknowledging
Each time I feel the sentiment differently
Maybe my hand need to rest
But my heart smiles

this poem can be modified with better rhyming and separated into stanzas...
