When Hope Dies Poem by Nishi Kumari

When Hope Dies

Rating: 4.6

The world around me is so numb and quiet
I feel like a caged bird broken inside
The night is the darkest and there is no hope
My breaths are frozen and going down slow
The demon of emptiness has captured my soul
I pray for the death to free me from this hole
The rainbow of my life has turned pale and black
There is no hues left on which I can count on

This writing sounds like coming from someone suffering from depression. It s like that. I have seen it. When strength, vision and will just go down the drain. A beautiful depiction. I hope it is not true. Well done. Mohabeer Beeharry
