When you write poems to her,
I hope you think of me.
Everything we were,
I hope that you can see..
That when you write those letters,
Addressed to a different girl,
When you broke your promises,
You broke another's world.
When you write her little notes,
To get a little smile,
Just know that it denotes
I've been waiting all the while
So when you write her poems,
And I do know that you will,
Promise me that you will read
The poems I write you still.
