WHEN GOD ABANDONS ME WILL I ABANDON GOD?

When God abandons me will I abandon God?
When the last illness comes and there is no hope,
When I know I am lost to this world,
Will I still place my trust in God
To care for those I love that I will leave behind?
When God abandons me will I believe
That somehow in some other world I continue to be?
When God abandons me
Will I believe I am not really abandoned at all
Despite my pain and suffering as I die?
