When Faith Began Poem by Gary James Smith

When Faith Began

Rating: 5.0

When Faith Began

When faith began to permeate
And find its residence
It found a settlement within
That wasn't happenstance
But line upon line and precept upon precept
As I obeyed God's Word
His Spirit brought it home to me
The Salvation of which I'massured

I rest upon the promises
Of He who's True and Faithful
Noting He will keep His Word
His Resurrection stands still!
Because He lives I shall live
My home is up in glory
Whatblessing to share with the world
That wonderful Salvation story

Jesus saves! Jesus Saves!
Glad be our proclamation
Only one name under heaven is given
To provide a so great Salvation
Whereas sin bequeathed a sentence of death
And sought to bring us loss
Upon repentance and belief the transformation begins
Hallelujah for the Cross!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
