When Creation's Groaning Poem by Gary James Smith

When Creation's Groaning

Rating: 5.0

When Creation's Groaning

When creation's groaning turns to song
Imagine all that praise
The stars, the trees, the rocks sing out
With the redeemed of every age
Love emits the greatest voice
To give praises to the Lamb
Both Heaven and earth in celebration
Just fathom that if you can

No wonder God has made eternity
Else we could never take it in
We're so used to living in the temporal
So many limitations because of sin
And holy, holy, holy
Sin's been dealt with, praise the Lord
Standing there singing with glorified bodies
Our Hallelujah's and praise the Lord's

I've been transfixed in adoration
Carried to heights by songs on earth
Sung by believers in the Lord Jesus Christ
Who've sang His praises for all their worth
And while tears have begun their traveling
From down my face unto the floor
Those songs of praise now generating worship
Unto that Saviour whom I adore

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
