When a Poet Dies
When a Poet dies
Everybody cries
Everybody is sad
Everybody feels bad
It is no laughing matter
It is like losing a mother
A father, a sister, a brother
Or a vey closed relative
Oh! It is always sad to leave.
When a Poet is gone
It is the end of all fun
The flowers stop smiling
The birds quit singing
The sun goes into hiding
The children start weeping
And the adults cannot stop wailing
A crucifix stands in front the coffin
It is the end! C'est la fin!
Dominus vobiscum!
Es el fin! Grief is in the room.
