Loving memories trickling into this mind from the past,
walking hand in hand, life parting ways, yet here we
are walking into another sunset, nothing changed as yet.

Moving forward, taking steps further apart, our hearts
losing interest in what we have, tears being traced
through the years in memories of time.

Wondering and thinking of our love and how it was de-
feated in it's prime, no way to have known it would
happen in this way.

Feeling a lonely sadness filtering through heartaches
of yesterday, mind going backwards, wondering what
could have happened to our long lost love, my dear.
