What is
Saying good bye?
Is it an ending,
Or a start to a new life?
What is
Letting go and
How do you know
When you should
Stop holding on?
I just need
To understand,
How to deal,
How to hold my
Own hand.
I need,
To say I’m sorry,
I know that this isn’t easy,
And I’m not helping at all.
Please know that I believe in you,
Just like you say
You believe in me too.
And though
You will be so far away,
I know you will stay
Here in my heart forever..
I have you to thank,
For everyday
That I wake.
I have you to thank,
For showing me
The right way.
I have you to thank,
For giving me
Back my smile,
My life.
I have you to thank,
For showing me I
Can go the extra mile.
So thank you,
For everything,
For the tears,
The smiles you bring.
And though I am
Terrified,
I know you are
Still in my life.
So many things,
I have learned from you.
So many things I could
Depend on you to do.
You took my broken heart
And mended it to be whole.

You will be going away,
