What is Beauty

They say beauty is only skin deep
That the real beauty is within
Is that true?

Because in this world all they do is judge you by your beauty
how dark your skin is
and how light your eyes are

This is why I cry at night
I cry for exception
I cry for love
I cry for a family who will understand what I am talking about

What people have to understand is
that beauty is a privelege
because in one moment it can be taken away

Now how will you be judged?

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
