What is a friend?
Someone who is silver tongued?
Or who has an appealing tone?
Yet with a heart of a stone!
Is a friend someone
Who loves you because
You are rich? Or someone
There for you only during the good times?
Is a friend someone
Who smiles at you
Share your secrets
And yet laugh behind your back?
Or is it someone
Who always keep secrets,
Always there for you
Through thick and thin?
Someone who has
A heart of gold?
Someone who has
An unconditional love?
What really is, a friend?
Can i be a friend
Without a friend
Or a friend
Of a friend?
Friendship patterns
Unchain my friendship essence
If any, it does (not) make sense
To have a friend without lessons
Learnt from a friend of persons
And i guess,
Beware!
For some people
Are wolves
In a coat of a sheep.
