Hiv/Aids Poem by Gomotsegang Sebadieta

Hiv/Aids

Rating: 4.0

Shall I compare you to a drought?
Which comes around without notice?
And take away the lives
Of people, animals and plants
Without being selective
Leaving the earth filled with carcasses
Of dead animals
Producing unpleasant smell
That covers the entire atmosphere
Are you a cousin to death?
It seems like you are in the same line
You are very malicious
As you take away
Young or old
Lame or blind
Rich or poor
Deaf or dumb
Do you ever care?
About other people's feelings
You are the most heartless being
That ever existed
Next to flood, hurricane and earthquake
Do you know how much grief you have left in people's hearts?
Have you ever loved?
How would you feel if someone robbed your loved ones way?
Learn to apply the ‘golden rule! '
