What If? Poem by Leigh Parham

I wonder day to day if what I'm doing is right
Mom or Dad? ? ?
I really wanting to live with mom
but what if I can't stay in one place
Dad really doesn't want to see me if living with mom
what if I stay with dad and grow so much anger
and kill someone before I'm 18
I hate to question my happiness
but what if what I'm going to do is not right
what if is a simple question with a simple answer
but is it really that simple?
I was this _ close to running away
and destroying my future
Sometimes I get so mad
I'm scared of my lil brother
What If I get so mad at him and hurt him
maybe even possibly killing him
I know I'm not bad to the bone but
What If? ?
Dad has a temper and mom doesn't have the
medical supplies
I want live with mom
but if I lose dad that will be on me til
my death bed
