What Has Become Poem by Lutanda Lutanda

What Has Become

What is the blame i'm not with you
Always the same with loneliness it cannot be killed
Desires so empty they cannot be filled
Of this world i'm nothing without you
Underneath my life, my pride
That I thought so sweetly was mine
I pray to give it all up and follow you behind
Because of what you are is life, mercy, compassion, patience, faithfulness, kindness, love and pure joy
Of what you are not is what has become
Greed, pride, haughtiness, misery, murders, immorality, strife, a world discontent, jealousies, hatred and pure sorrow
All that is evil.
