What Else But Surrender Poem by Robert Matkovic

What Else But Surrender

I've become empty, void.
My mind uncovered now an entity on it's own, split from my feelings
they play, but do not live together.
So where Is my home?

Things just seem to happen, nothing more.
My mind is collapsing, it can no longer run
it can no longer hide.
Long gone once held was that pride.

My mind itself wants to surrender, yet it fights all the time.
Even I am starting to believe there is no end
To this tale of life.

All I do just comes back again.
Things never seem to get better
They only keep going.
What else but surrender? .
