What a day
Snow piled, melted, thawed
-I drove in my car
-ice piled, froze on
-the rubber; could not wipe.
Side windows and backside
-seemed the same as if are
-tainted and lamented
-with a sheet to hide out.
Regardless, the roadside
-was great, and a sight
-to observe, study
-when worktime, finally
-ended and the shutters
-came down to cause relief.
At Duncan and Lesmill
-plenty are buildings
-for workers in office;
-I drove observing
-men, women, snow hills
-and walking with hardship
-to the bus, or something
-to arrive, for riding.
The news was talk of
-Kim Jong-un and Donald
-and Chen's comments of:
- "He is cheat and conman! "
I listened, also watched
- (drive-in cinema!)
-on my mind ideas
-permanently change on...
Will go home and write of…
Will record what saw of…
Will focus on the needs…
Will paint the beauties…
Will select a love scene…
Jammed were cars, traffic
-that slid and skipped
-that reversed or decreased
-their turtle-like speed.
Some stopped; a full halt
-when hitting other one
-with a dent or without.
I felt me in a gym
-for boxing, gymnastic
-or in seat of a rink
-for Ice-dance or curling
-players kept busy
-with jabbing, brushing.
And I watched a girl who
-stood there in waiting;
-wore pair of glasses
-bit her lips, made faces
-unaware of her deeds,
-was copy of pet dog
-in leash-less area
-after time with the dogs
-racing and in times bark
-as a part of the game
-of running, catching ball,
-now tired at the end
-in need of home, food, rest.
Was lucky with my car
-in zigzag to get out
-on the way I dreamed:
- "Will shovel and clean
-the place where I park."
Wonderful I felt when
-saw the work had been done
-before me, by someone…
- "But by who? How can I
-meet him, her to thank of
-such a help, greatness? "
