Weightless Poem by Zeke Herron

Weightless

If only life suited
That of a bird
Feathers light
Weightless in sight
The air would move me
Through and through
My arms would feel
Gentle still
Journeying through
The spinning wheel
Fatigue would know
No name of mine
On and on
Through and twine

Thanks Colleen! I wanted to give off that weightless feeling we all long for. I appreciate the comment and kind words! -Zeke

Reminds me of how one feels when all is right with their world. Kind of like your walking on air and could happily float to the sky. Nicely written poem!
