Weed And War Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Weed And War

Weed and war

Reading the articles
Talking with visitors
And alone in corners
Remind me of Ernest
(An ignored, forgotten
That needed time to rest
And forget his father…)

These, unite and bubble,
Swirl and kill brain,
Soon I fall, silent, dead.

Weed is all what I need
To relax, be relieved…

Am tired of mankind…

This devil is smart
In killing, causing harm
To the man, animal
And the Earth and skies.

Guess, I heard God whisper:
"Of mankind am ashamed! "

Am I right?
Is he right?

Turned pages of tortures
For long and everywhere
Saw behind it, mankind
With power and drunk
Using the sword and gun!

Detained are the Uighur
And Casey, the Mohawk
And Ernest's dad, leftist,
Tortured by the rightists
Why? Why? Why?

Answer me, weed, Hashish!
