Web Of Deciet Poem by Lilly James

Web Of Deciet

I know longer know
The difference between
The truth and a lie
My life is shaped around
Deciet entangled in a web
Full of lies
Lies from my mother
Lies from my brother
Lies from my father
Even from my friends
The lies I get so easly
Entagled in are the lies
I've told
To save myself from trouble
Sometimes for attention
To keep friends out of
Getting in trouble
To use as an excuse
After a while the lies
Seem to become true
The lies about you
The lies about me
This web of deciet starts
To become my reality
I believe my lies just as you do
But now I'm hurting myself
Entangled in this web
Of my own deciet
I try to run from it
The harder I try the more
I become trapped in this web
They say the truth will set you free
But all thats brought is heartache
To me
I'll remain entangled in my
Web of deciet
Untill the day I die
